Originally hailing from St. Vincent, Ossie Dellimore's musical career was boosted when he won first prize at an amateur night at The Apollo Club. Several years later, Ossie's abundant musical and lyrical talents convinced Easy Star Records to put his first single 'Time Has Come' on one of their compilation-albums. This gem is also included on Ossie's first full length-release, entitled "Freedom's Journal". Originally released in 2000, it received rave reviews due to its raw musical power and the excellent songwriting.

Now in 2004, Prof. Skank of the independent "Skankproductions"-label re-released an extended version of "Freedom's Journal" and made it finally available again.
