Planet 10 is a housing project in Vienna's 10th district.
Planet 10 is more than just a house; it is a space that embodies the very meaning of queerness, disability and migration: being at odds with what is considered normal. It is a safer space for queer and migrant people to belong, rest, love and be loved.
The film captures memories of Planet 10 shortly before the building’s renovation and, at the same time, invites viewers to imagine its future.
It also provides an opportunity to reflect on the political and social processes that have taken place or are currently taking place at Planet 10.

Planet 10 ist ein Hausprojekt im 10. Bezirk in Wien.
Planet 10 ist mehr als nur ein Haus; es ist ein Ort, der die eigentliche Bedeutung von Queerness, Behinderung und Migration verkörpert: im Widerspruch zu dem zu stehen, was als normal gilt. Es ist ein sicherer Ort für queere Menschen und Migrant*innen, an dem sie sich zugehörig fühlen, sich ausruhen, lieben und geliebt werden können.
Der Film sammelt Erinnerungen an Planet 10 kurz vor dem Umbau des Gebäudes und lädt gleichzeitig dazu ein, sich seine Zukunft vorzustellen.
Er gibt auch Gelegenheit, über die politischen und sozialen Prozesse nachzudenken, die bei Planet 10 stattgefunden haben oder aktuell stattfinden.
Das Projekt wird von wienwoche finanziert.
